Adhunika cordially invites you to the Annual Fund Raising Event in Celebration of 13 years of Adhunika, on Saturday, April 4, 2015. Please join us for a magical evening of celebration by Friends of Adhunika to make a difference & support our work. Adhunika seeks to empower under-served girls and women in Bangladesh through technological trainings, scholarships and workshops related to health and legal rights awareness, job proficiency and English language workshops.

The evening will include:

·         A skit written, directed & performed by the Friends of Adhunika Juniors

·         A captivating dance performance – reflection of social injustice and upheavals

·         Presentation by Friends of Adhunika on activities in New York area, projects in Bangladesh and friends’ recent visits to Adhunika Women’s Center, Bangladesh

·         Musical performances by Punam, Nayema, Malina, Emon, Shami Sattar, Ifte Chowdhury (of Bangla Ave.), Arafat Kazi, Daiyan Mir & Friends

·         Adhunika booth where you can learn about Adhunika Foundation, how you can support our various projects in Bangladesh and how you can remain involved year round

·         Kids Corner by the Friends of Adhunika Juniors

·         Authentic mouthwatering Bangladeshi ‘tok-jhal-mishti’ food

·         Opportunity to network with Adhunika’s collaborative partners, & meet young professionals representing local nonprofit, & for-profit organizations
