Bring Light Out of Darkness

The silhouette of a wolf

Makes a hole in the moon.

The blackness of the forests

Signals the gloom.

Not necessarily,

Light is elsewhere;

At a different part of the world

Just waiting to share.

The sounds await

In the dark streets of the town;

No light, no noise: just silence

Shadows our face with a frown.

The sparkle of light

I see nearby.

The streets awaken

After the moon disappears from the sky.
